Easier access now open to the Catholic office and lawns
The new East Street entrance is now operational. This entrance will provide direct access into Sheehy Ave, Rookwood for easier access to the Catholic office and lawns.
Please be advised that the current Weeroona Road entrance will be closed for 12 weeks commencing from 1 April, 2017 to complete the building of new gates. A temporary entrance will still be accessible off Weeroona Street, located between the War Graves and the Village Café. There will be road detours in place whilst the gate construction takes place. Please see the attached Rookwood map which highlights road closures and detours in the cemetery during this time.
